A Gathering of Eagles

February 28th, we gathered on a chilly very windy day to help promote the 100th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America. Steve Thompson, a former Eagle Scout himself, helped gather the people in the picture (below left). They are ALL Eagle Scouts from Richmond County from years past.
It was great seeing all those guys again even though some I didn’t recognize right away. (It probably has been 25 years or longer since I was actively involved in scouts). We caught up a little, and joked about past camp outs, snipe hunts, and some of our shared trips and memories.  It was also great seeing all our past troop leaders, district, and council leaders from years past too.  All of us gathered in this last photo. Thanks Steve, and everyone else who put this together!
